What types of events can be held at Friends House?
Friends House is perfect for all kinds of events, from conferences and meetings to exhibitions, award ceremonies, and hybrid gatherings. With 32 versatile spaces, including The Light auditorium for up to 1,000 guests, we can bring your event vision to life. Can I hire Friends House exclusively for my event?
Yes, you can hire Friends House exclusively for your event. Please note that exclusive hire covers the event and public areas of the building. Staff working areas and the Friends House library are not accessible as part of exclusive hire unless specifically agreed as part of your booking.
Does venue hire include catering or AV equipment?
General venue hire at Friends House does not include catering or AV support. However, all room hires do come with essential in-room equipment such as a screen or projector, high-speed Wi-Fi.
If you require catering or additional AV services, these can be added separately or included within one of our Day Delegate Rate (DDR) packages.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred date and room. Our spaces are in high demand, especially for larger events and peak seasons.

What are the venue hire hours?
Friends House is open Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Venue hire is available during these hours. The Seed Café and Quaker Bookshop are open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. If you require access outside these times, please contact our Sales Team to discuss your event needs.
Can I visit the venue before booking?
Yes, we’d be happy to show you around before you book. You can arrange a site visit by contacting our Sales Team on 020 7663 1100 or emailing events@quakers.co.uk. Alternatively, you can explore our spaces anytime through our virtual tour to get a feel for the venue before your visit.Â
